On November 4th volunteers from 8020 Consulting rolled up their sleeves to pack crates of food for low income and homebound seniors in support of the Food Bank’s mission to end hunger in Los Angeles. 8020 joined other volunteers from LA 2028 and other companies to pack enough crates to feed 3860 seniors for a month!
“As a Los Angeles based company, it’s important to our firm to give back to the local community. Coming together as a team to help others is not only fun, but inspiring,” states Erin Youel, the Coordinator for this special event.
The Los Angeles Food bank is able to stretch every dollar donated into 4 meals for children and families facing hunger in Los Angeles and serves more than 300,000 people on a monthly basis!
